Our Story
Meet Camellia Noor, co-owner of Embellished Occasions. Her decor journey began when she volunteered to decorate festive celebrations for her local community. She serves as a volunteer, emcee, and event organizer for national and international organizations through fundraisers that help uplift communities in areas of civic engagement, disaster relief and health rehabilitation.
Her hobbies include event and interior design with a passion of mixing non traditional elements to bring an unexpected angle of design.
She is loving mother to 3 conscientious children, 2 of which are in college and the last one, a new driver sharing the road. As a family, they enjoy touring national parks, places with rich history, and savoring diverse cuisines.

Meet Sadia Malik, co-owner of Embellished Occasions. She is a 4th year at University of Cincinnati pursuing her bachelors degree in Business Administration studying Entrepreneurship and Marketing. Coming from a Pakistani background, she has always had an appreciation for South Asian weddings and admired the colorful and extravagant set ups. From a young age, her dream has always been to pursue wedding and event design.
She started gaining an eye in event decor as a hobby decorating birthday parties, showers, graduations, and school events. She has served on her University's programming board, led multiple university events through various student organizations, and leads her mosque's youth department as the event coordinator and would volunteer to decorate some of these events. Overtime, she started building a portfolio of her work and began working on vision boards for her long term and short term event goals.

The two crossed paths at a restaurant for a mutual family friend's lunch party. Camellia approached Sadia and they sat next to each other and began chatting. They expressed their mutual interest and passion for event decor. At the time, Camellia was intending on stepping back from the business considering the circumstances of COVID-19 on small businesses and wanting to explore other industries. However, after talking and getting to know one another both of them had rejuvenated their excitement for the business. In learning their shared interest in event design, Sadia had asked for a job shadowing opportunity. However, after speaking more on their interests, Camellia offered Sadia an internship at Embellished Occasions (previously known as Elleure Events).
Overjoyed, from then on, the two began working together and later became business partners of what we now know as Embellished Occasions. They continuously strive for excellence, attentiveness to details, and and overall exceptional decor aesthetic to make dream events come to life!
